6-12 Along with introducing basic artistic swimming skills our Learn Artistic Swimming programs improve swimming by developing foundational aquatic skills such as floating, breathing, water entries, stroking and kicking, sculling, body positions, agility, balance, coordination, strength, and flexibility, all while having fun!
Classes may not run if less than 3 swimmers are registered -
Alberta Artistic swim Fees - $36/yr+GST
6-12 years ( 1 h/week - 10 classes) $150 +AAS Fee
6-12 years ( 1.5 hs/week - 10 classes) $200 +AAS Fee

All registrants are requires to register and pay on the excel website, purchase a yearly membership to AAS (available in Aug), and complete the 2024/2025 Club Information form, read the CAS conduct policy, and read the concussion pre season protocol form.

This program is intended for swimmers who want more pool time and are interested in swimming throughout the whole season (Sept-May). This program is run by NCCP-certified coaches who assist swimmers in developing basic artistic swimming skills swimmers further improve swimming by developing foundational aquatic skills.The accomplishments of this young group of athletes are showcased and celebrated at the winter and season-end watershows. Our Advanced Learn Artistic swimming team can also opt to swim at recreational events. within the province

For more than three consecutive years, Excel has been able to subsidize our pre-competitive programs with funds received from a Red Cross Grant and a CPRA grant from the Government of Canada to support participation of women in sport.
The club was able to secure some funds to partially subsidize this program for the Sep-Dec 2024 session through a Jumpstart grant. Please fill out the google form application to request a spot.
